For the first time in her career, Lucie de Moyencourt will be exhibiting her sketches from her travelling notebooks.

Lucie is well-known for pulling out her ink and sketch books at picnics, hipster coffee bars and glamorous French film festivals to record a moment she's experiencing. Being a drawing constructed by the artist herself, her recordings of daily life are a lot more fascinating that the tired old Instagram post. Continuing the tradition of the French comics, Lucie records her contemporary life with humour, insight and joy - often exaggerating elements to enhance her take on the subject. This exhibition of over 200 individual, unframed pages marks the first time that her prized and personal sketches have been exhibited since she began the tradition 15 years ago while travelling through Spain and gives visitors a joyride tour of how Lucie sees the world.

*Co-inciding with this exhibition, Lucie will be illustrating the projections for a play set in Cape Town called 'Happy New Year'. The production will be showing at the Fugard Theatre from the 21st of February and you can book your tickets and read more about the show here

**Kindly note that the website will be updated with images by the end of Friday the First of February.
